I heard something about duel power books coming out, what is the chances of this being true also how much do you think they would be.

Most likely this was meaning "dual-core" processors being used. Unfortunately, this most likely won't show up until the Intel switch in 2006. For now, I'd recommend just waiting for a Powerbook and/or Powermac purchase until then.

Yeah, the rumors currently out there are that Apple is about to update Powermacs and Powerbooks and with Dual Core PowerPC chips (970MP) being announced by IBM, there is hope that these processors would show up soon. But there is a lot of doubt about that as Apple is focusing on the move to Intel... the Powerbooks would more likely get the 970FX anyway, a low power alternative... Those Powerbooks are REALLY thin and heat is always an issue. Powerbooks are due to be updated soon though... last release was in January.

As far as price goes, look at the prices today... they don't generally change much. You just get a better machine the day after they are announced!
