I'm struggling to figure out a way to power my Beachtek DXA-SLR Pro (which runs off of 9v batteries) with my Fotga DP500II Power Supply. The power supply includes a 5v, USB (5v), 7.4v, 12v, and D-Tap (14v) outlets. I'm currently powering my external monitor with the 12v outlet and my GH2 via DC coupler with the 7.4v outlet. I have been looking for a battery eliminator that would work, however I've only found AC battery eliminators. Is there anyway for me to power my Beachtek with my remaining DC outlets?

Find out from Beachtek what the voltage range is , it may be able to handle 12V. I have seen.12V to 9V battery eliminators Contact one of the 'usual suspect 'location sound shops. The 12V tap with a 9V regulator would work as well, but if it doesn't have a DC input, modifications would be necessary. Regulators are cheap and easy to build. (soldering/electronics experience required)

Thanks for the response guys. Richard, I've seen those battery eliminators before. I've thought about buying one and splicing either a 12v male plug on it or a male D-tap. I'm just not proficient enough with soldering iron or my knowledge of circuitry to try it. Rick, I'll look into that. I'm considering trying to use the D-Tap to power the beachtek.

I'm still looking for a D-Tap to 12v-15v DC adapter? Any help?
