I'm currently in the process of finishing up a slick intro slate animation in AfterEffects, to promote sample videos for my new company. Although my only business has been weddings at this point, the logo, as well as the accompanying animation, is very un-wedding-video-ish (which is intentional).
Anyone have any they've done that they want to share?

I'm considering it, but I haven't decided what I want to do yet. I know there are lots of members with them. Just watch through a page or two of samples here and you will see several.

That's very neat Rob.
I used to have one in my 4:3 days but needed to change it to widescreen but never really got around to doing it which is sad!! Maybe I should just take the original animation and chop the top and bottom off so it's 16:9 and add new text??
I have one small niggle on yours!! I think that the logo is great but it's spoilt by your abbreviated name!! Just my thoughts but "Rob Cantwell" sounds a lot (and looks a lot better) to me than "R. Cantwell" ... or "Cantwell Video" ... maybe it's the full stop after the "R" that looks weird??

That's very nice! There are definetly a lot of good templates and tutorials out there.
Just realized I forgot to post my finished product, seen at the beginning here: Rachel and Joseph's Wedding on Vimeo

Hi chris yeah you might have something there ok, i think when i was doing it i wasn't sure if the full name would fit in, I might have another go at it, incidentely i was thinking of doing one for photography as well and maybe in a different colour.
Nice one Max
