Dude, I just watched this tutorial, Mixing Multicam Audio in Apple Final Cut Pro X - Streaming Media Producer (http://www.streamingmedia.com/Producer/Articles/ReadArticle.aspx?ArticleID=91076) That's a pretty detailed work around. I'm just learning this FCPX thingy from Apple. Thanks for that tutorial.

Hey Steve- yes, thankfully they addressed the issue in 10.1 which was the reason for my peculiar audio workflow. You can now detach audio from multiclips so you camera changes won't automatically "blade" your audio.

Btw, thank you.

I just want to say thank you for the video tutorial(s), Glenn Elliott. Recently, I've started using a second videocamera for my modest video projects. I've also been diving deeper into Final Cut Pro X. I've recently learned to appreciate the relative ease of using its multi-camera feature. However, managing the audio from both cameras was a mystery until now. Watching your video tutorial on managing several different audio channels was just what I needed for my modest projects. Thank you! (I bookmarked your web-site.)
