Does anyone have any information on the optex PL mount? It appears less cumbersome than the Mini 35 but I would assume it has the 7x focal length problem since I don't see anything to compensate. Anyone use this? I'd like to see all the options before I win the lottery and buy one. Thanks.

The optex adapter and the Mini35 are two different things. Both solutions allow you to use yr standard lenses but the Optex just allows to mechanically fix them and will still need the focal lenght correction (about 7x depending on your CCD's size). It doesn't change yr DOF limits. The (expensive) Mini 35 is primairely meant for getting DOF possibilities (in combination with yr standard lenses) not possible whith yr cameras' small CCD's. It doesn't need any further correction
