After market. It wasn't a cheap one though.

I'm used to quickly check my strap every time I start using my camera. I know it will hold it all day long so I only check it for the first time. Original strap.

Steven, ouch! I'm saddened about what happened. I use those cheap, thin, black-professional nylon ones for a dollar from the used camera strap boxes some camera shops carry. I hate straps but I know I have to use them because accidents happen hello.
