Howdy. I was thinking about getting a Lilliput field monitor, but before I do, I want to know if anyone has any success using the Nexus 7 (or any Android tablet) as a field monitor for the Sony NEX VG20.

The screen on the Nexus 7 (2013) is quite nice and not only provides a liveview from the camera but controls most parameters (including touching the screen to activate focus in that area). I'll be using it in a one man/two camera operation. So if your camcorder has a tethering option, it might be a consideration. |
