hi all,

I have the fs700 for a few months already and I really like the camera. I am very comfortable with the camera when it is on a tripod. However, I am still not very comfortable with doing "run and gun" style with it. Whenever I need to do "run and gun", I go back to my comfort zone of using the canon xa10 and dslr!

With that said, I figured that I a few things that I probably will need to buy:
-get an extended rosetta handle
-shoulder pad
-external monitor

I want to run with the camera comfortably and don't have poor posture while running with it. May I ask all you experienced fs700 users how you rig your camera and what parts/rigs do you use? Any pictures would be great!

Any help appreciated!

I make and use a kit for the 700 that is very compact and can be expanded including rail if you need them.

It can be seen and ordered here:
Sony FS700 shoulder brace (http://www.westsideavstore.com/index.php?p=product&id=65)

It is the smallest lightest shoulder kit I know of for the 700. Like I said I made it because I use it, like all my parts. You can return it for a full refund if you don't like it. I have sold hundreds of these kits.

Contact me and we can set up a Skype call and I can demo it for you.

Here are a couple photos:

I use different rigs for various configurations.

When running and gunning, I keep the camera simple... with the Sony 18-200 kit lens (with face detection), an EVF and parts from Olof.
