Hi David, is Windows XP Media Center 2005 compatable with cineform? meaning the service pack 2 requirement? The gateway dual core systems are pretty cheep, will they be up to speed, I currently have no problem with my 3.0 HT processor, the gateway is a 2.8 gig processor.

The service pack 2 is only for the lastest HDV camera drivers, other than that it is not really an Aspect HD requirement. However, I have never run Aspect HD under Media Center.

Note: on the CPU clock speed. As these systems are dual core, if Media Center is no issue, they will be very fast and excellent for Aspect HD.
