We have the original Optitek adapter and now the Mark II. The mark II with the F55 does not require power run to it. That is, you don't have to connect the 4 pin cable for 12 volt power. For F5 users, this is big news since the F5 doesn't have 4 pin power jacks on it. With the adapter and 50mm F1.4 on we changed the menu lens setting to TYPE C. Aperture is in T stops and shows up int he VF.

Great news mine shows up next week for the F55. Look forward to running it through test prior to using on a job two days later.

Yet oddly, neither of those show up on your website in lens accessories or via search.

Something to add to this thread related to the Cooke and ARRI contacts that are on the Sony FZ to PL lens adapter:
Sony makes these pins hollow. I learned this when I couldn't get power to a lens and discovered someone had broken off the contact pins with a lens or lens-mount cover plate. This is surprisingly easy to do - so be aware. My guess is that they are designed to break off instead of bending and possibly causing a power short. On the bright side, the hollow pins make it easy to determine if they've been damaged as you can easily see the hole in the center of the pins if they've been chopped off.
Just thought I'd throw this out there as it was a recently acquired piece of knowledge...

Website has been completely redesigned and relaunched. More products, more selection, faster! We have more of these adapters on order. They are on short supply. For any MFT fans out there the adapters say "Berger Engineering" on them...
