I recorded an event and have a buzz or hum in the audio. I tried to remove it using Audacity, but just couldn't get it right. Any help would be appreciated. I have attached a sample.

Thanks in advance.

I use Adobe Audition for all my audio restoration, it does a pretty amazing job at fixing audio. Give it a try comes with easy to use audio restoration filters.

plonked it in rx, clicked remove hum - voila.

i also did a second test after by selecting 'learn', selected hum 'sample' then ran process. my hearing is stuffed, so i'm not sure how much difference there might have been...

Nice one Leslie! Solid outcome.

I had a go with the new RX3 Standard, and tried to knock-out more of the harmonics, but you've nailed it in one-shot! There is a very interesting - well, I think it's interesting - what I call a proximity-feedback tail/trail-off as the speaker or hand-holder must be walking off and away from an RX for the TX mic unit. I tried to wrangle that down, but all I ended up doing was removing more from the speaker's voice.

Yup, Less Is More.

grazie, as much as i would like to take credit, credit is ALL due to izotope. ok, i'll take some credit for realising my hearing is fubar and that if i am to do any mixing then it has to be with software that i can depend on to do what i can't....
