View Full Version : FS100 Produced Sample videos?

I've been looking on Youtube and Vimeo for some produced sample videos of the FS-100 such as commercials or short films that showcase all aspects of this camera but all I seem to find is reviews or people walking around their backyard and home doing test shots. Anybody know where I can see some cool produced videos that were shot exclusively with the FS-100? Even your own would be great. Thanks!

Although I think the edit wasn't good, and there was no grading done...this corporate video was all done with the FS-100 (minus the stock footage in NY). I was the DP.

Both are done 100% with the FS100. Not necessarily 'cool' and both were very quick turnaround
jobs, but hey they aren't camera tests and I actually got paid for both of them.

Good stuff Oren!, exactly the kind off thing I was looking for. Nice DOF in the interview, do you remember which lens you used? Thanks for posting;)

Thanks for posting Gabe, 90% of my video are commercials so these are the kind of shots I was looking for. Do you remember what lenses were used in these? Thanks.

Most of that spot was shot with a Sigma 50-150 f2.8. Also used the kit lens and a Tamron 17-50 f2.8.
Also used Franks G-Log ultimate picture profile.

That looks great Ryan, did you use ND filters on this?

Wow, incredible stuff here Samer, thanks for sharing. Exactly the kind of stuff I was looking for. Did you use a lot of different lenses on these? That Evan Penny content is really cool. Thanks!

Thanks Danny :) if you go to my vimeo page you can see the lenses i used for each video but generally i use
Zeiss 50mm F1.4
Sony 24mm F1.8
Kit lens 18-200mm
Tokina 11-16mm F2.8
and variable nd filter by Heliopan. Even Penny is indeed a great artist and a very nice guy by the way :)

I may have used a polarizer for a couple shots, but I don't recall. I rarely use NDs on location shoots like this one. The interview portion was with a Canon FD 50mm 1.4.

Chad, I really like the look you acheived for "Jessica & Robert - Recap". Great color and a level of sharpness I don't often see with the F100. Can you share which lenses you used and any other settings you work with?

Thanks,
Rob

Thanks Rob. Most shots were with the Canon 24-105 as that is my go to lens. There are some various shots as well with the Canon 50 f/1.4 FD, Canon 200 f/2.8 FD and the Sony 16 f/2.8 I use a custom profile I found on Vortex Media's FS100 video. I also tend to shoot a little on the warmer side which I think makes that PP pop that much more. No additional work was applied in post.

I shot it alone with the kit lens since it was rather runny and gunny, chasing after kids and all.

chad-

nice handling of skin tones and the dreaded "blown out" top end of the fs100.

in your capable hands, color was very well done.

thanks for sharing.

be well.

Thanks Rob!

The speed booster was fine with the 24-70 ( I was using the EF fit Tamron 24-70 2.8 for its IS) the only issue I have had is with the vignetting on the 70-200 (but still useable)
