This is a video I did to promote altar serving in the Catholic church. I filmed it by myself (I had an altar server help with conducting the interviews and some with lighting) at 4 different Masses (services), and did the interviews on two days after the Masses.

What it means to be an Altar Server on Vimeo

I thought this piece was really well put together.

The story telling by the servers & the cutaways were excellent, as was the occasional and judicious use of camera moves. Thanks for not overdoing that! Everything looked and sounded good. Well done!

I thought it got a little long around the 3:15 to 3:30 mark or so. If it were me, I'd want to pull out about :40? At that point some of the interview content was getting repetitive for me, as were the cutaways.

I also thought that "several seconds of new vo over a cutaway, then cut to interview" was overused as a technique. Consider staying in a cutaway sequence throughout some of these short interview audio snippets.

I'm sure this project will be very meaningful to many, most of whom won't be concerned with my suggestions!
