I was on the internet the other day and saw someone advertising films for mothers who are expecting. They called it "Baby Bumps." Has anyono else heard of people doing this. It wouldn't surprise me, everyone wants to have their own little feature. Good for us. I suppose you would interview mom and dad, get some shots of them in the park walking ect...

It's a nice niche market for photographers but as with 'video portraits' I have a real problem visualising how you would sell this. A photo session takes at most an hour with a few hours post-production. They then sell wall portraits or albums for hundreds. What price would people pay for a video of themselves?

I guess the easy answer would be: They will pay the price that your product is worth.

I have never specifically made a feature about pregnancy but just like anything in life, if there is an event worth remembering and a story worth sharing, the possibilities can be endless.

I would approach it the same way as any other event and quote accordingly.

I'll venture a guess that you would generate a lot more income from an educational video targeted at expectant mothers, plus you'd have a recurring income stream.
