Their first batch got sold out already, but hopefully I will be able to test one by end of the week or early next week.
I'll keep you guys posted how it handles Raw video recording on the 5D mkII and 7D and hopefully a 5D mkIII.

Look forward to the tests.

I have their 128 GB 1000x card. It doesn't ship to India. So I got it shipped to a US address and then got it from there. After I put it in my C300, I got a shock of my life. As the card didnt work. It was lying there for sometime. Then I placed it in my 1D Mark IV and tried to format it. The message said that the card was kind of nearly full. Anyway, I formatted it in the 1D Mark IV. After that it started working even with my C300. However, I am not sure whether I can shoot with it for client work or critical personal work. I am very very nervous.

I got a mail from KomputerBay sometime back, through amazon asking me about feedback. Though I shared it, and told them that it is working now and gave all the details, they kept on repeating their question about specs etc. My perception was the person at the other end somehow tried to skirt the issue.

I am in favour of a company which can sell products that are value for money. So I hope, the new cards are uniformly good.

Cheers,
Sabyasachi

The high capacity CF cards they ship usually is pre-formatted as exfat.

Does your c300 use exfat or fat32?

There is a large market for counterfeightet memory cards so only buy these kinds of things from reputable outlets who can confirm to you their source. Usually the manufacturer can also give you information that will identify the legit cards which will be very slightly different in the counterfeight cards. Here are some videos on the general topic.

No clue. :) If you need then I have to ask Canon.

I have 2 128gb 1000, and only one is still working. Lasted about 2 months with our 1DC. Hopefully we just had bad luck. Our 2 Sandisks bought at the same time still work

I bought a load of KomputerBay DDR3 RAM a while back and it gave me no end of problems due to intermittent faults.

The new 256 CF cards will run Magic Lantern and can be seen by the cameras we tested. The 5DmkII 5DmkIII and the 7D.

But it offers no speed benefit based on our tests. The cameras data bandwidth is perhaps the limiting factor in this case.

I will organize my tests results and give a better and more comprehensive write up on it later.
