I am selling a brand new oktokopter cinematography platform - see details below:

Aeronavics (Droidworx) SkyJib Xm4 Ti-QR Heavy Lift Ready to Fly Package:

This is a coaxial arrangement oktokopter giving a smaller footprint and better stability in turbulent conditions than a flat 8 arrangement.

The SkyJib Xm4 Ti-QR Heavy Lift is capable of carrying a payload like the Red Epic camera and C300 (stripped down) Black Magic , Nikon D4 and the Canon 5D with Heavy Prime lens.

With the 8 motor configuration this offers greater lift and stability in the air which broadcasters and videographers crave for when carrying out video work.

This rig was professionally built and has tested faultlessly for 14 hours.

Package includes:

Droidworks SkyJib Xm4 Ti-QR airframe

Rectractable undercarriage

8 x t-motor U5 400rpm heavy lift motors

10 x T-motor carbon fibre-pro 15x5 propellers (4l, 4R, and two spares)

DJI Wookong M flight controller

Telemetry overlay from DJI osd

DJI Ground Station module

Assorted spares from droidworks construction

6x desire power 10,400 mAh lipo batteries (optional extras at £100 per battery)

I am selling a Mark Roberts Motion Control pan/tilt head SFH-30 with added focus motor and a selection of lens rings, added dolly motor with 10m tooth belt. The unit can be controlled via the included joystick control unit or via an ethernet connection from the included mini laptop installed with Flair control software. Used mainly for repeatable video moves, the unit is also perfect for stop motion animation and advanced timelapse moves.

It comes with mains electricity power supply and all cables, including Canon 5d style shutter cable (you can get alternatives from Mrmoco).

The unit can be easily powered in the field with a power gorilla battery - which can also be used to power the included laptop.

This is a proper motion control rig with precisely repeatable moves suitable for green screen work etc. The retail price of this set-up, without the added laptop and several other extras I will be throwing in, is around UK £14,000

This Unit has been in my possession for several years but has seldom been used as my focus has been on other types of shot.

I am offering the whole lot for UK £5,000

Contact me if you are interested - geofftompkinson@usa.net or +44 7824 323183

Hi Dylan,

Will these do the new XAVC codec?

Shaun Roemich
May 22nd, 2014, 02:02 PM
Sony isn't shipping the new XAVC codec yet but at bitrates of 100Mbps and 50Mbps, the XAVC bitrates are significantly below the 240Mbps guaranteed write speed of the SxS-1 cards.

Paul Cronin
May 22nd, 2014, 02:07 PM
Thanks Shaun,

Understand the bit rates, just want to make sure there is not some other reason I would have to go Pro +. I will check with my Sony connection.

Just checked, agree they should be fine.

I bought a couple of refurbished Canon HF-R300s. $139 per from Canon's store. Manual controls for focus, exposure, white balance and audio level. I still really need an HF-S200 20 or 21

Guys,

I'm looking for a Tamron 70-200mm f2.8 (Sony Alpha mount) in good condition (no types of scratches, fungus, haze or anything that might affect quality or any type of damage that may affect performance....faulty zoom, focus, etc). This is an old lens and I've seen many copies selling for around us$450, but I would much rather buy from someone here at the forum, so PM me if you want to sell.

P.S - You will have to ship to Brazil and I deal with paypal only

I used this cover once, then it was stored in a bag. As you can see, it still has that new crease look. I bought it for my Sony Z1u, but according to Porta Brace, it fits the Sony Z7 as well. I payed almost 200.00 for it, so if you'd like it, make me a reasonable offer.

Excellent/new condition.

In the same picture is my Red 300mm prime which is very nice lens. This was purchased in Oct 2013 used but prior to purchase tested at Dulcos. This lens is in excellent condition and comes with an extra Dulcos rear cap.

Pictured on my sold F55 is the Red 17-50 lens. Also purchased with the Red 300 in Oct 2013. This was my go to lens and lived on the F55, very nice optics and a very nice lens to use. Tested prior to my purchase at Dulcos. A rare hard to find lens.

Hi folks. I'm looking quite seriously at jumping ship from video production as my main revenue stream and am seriously considering recouping some of my investment cash to apply towards my new start-up.

My Sony PMW-200 and accessories are on the proverbial auction block.

- Sony PMW-200 camera with supplied BP-U-30 battery and bonus 16GB SxS-1 card. 151 hours as of today on the camera, used exclusively by me mostly indoors with a brief bit of shooting in Mexico. Very clean. Everything works as expected. Purchased new from Hamilton Video and Sound (HVS) in July 2013. Pretty much all the Sony supplied accessories that came with it are kicking around, I just need to find cables potentially. 1-slot charger/AC adaptor included.

- 2 x Sony 64GB SxS-1 cards. Purchased new in October 2013 from HVS.

- 2 x Sony BP-U60 batteries. Never dropped, work perfectly. Purchased new in July 2013 from HVS.

- 2 x Sony MEAD-SD02 SD card to SxS adaptors. Can likely throw in some 32GB SD cards as a bonus. Purchased new in July 2013 from HVS.

- KATA CC-195 camera bag in not quite like new shape. Bought 7 or so years ago from HVS for one of my disposed of JVC HD200 cameras. MAY not have ALL inserts. Can supply pics.

- Sony UWP-series UHF wireless mic system with metal beltpack transmitter & lav mic and metal receiver mounted on the camera via a mini-ballhead. Purchased July 2013 from DVEStore.

- Off-brand UV filter on lens since new.

- Seat of Content Browser has been licensed by me already - $20USD to buy on Sony's website.

The original Sony box IS here, if that is important to you.

Shipping within Canada only.

Again, testing the waters. Make me an offer for the kit - prefer to sell complete.

Also have a Manfrotto 501/525MVB 2 stage aluminum tripod up for grabs if the camera kit goes. NOT the 501HDV, this is the original. Can ship with Manfrotto dolly wheels as well.

Email me at:
roaddogmedia (at) gmail (dot) com

or use the Send User an Email option via this forum.

Most of the head honchos around here have met me and will vouch for me, including Mister Hurd himself, I'm sure.

I am switching transmitters and have two Lectronic MM400 mini transmitters Feq 470. These just came back from Lectrosonic for a full service and are in new condition.

Link to the transmitters info.
Pro-Sound Lectrosonics MM400C Water-Resistant Digital Hybrid Wireless™ Miniature Transmitter with Microphone (http://www.pro-sound.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=PSS&Product_Code=SLECMM400C&Category_Code=LecTrans)

Great deal at $400 each or $750 for the pair.

DON'T get the oversized aluminum VariZoom, whatever you do. Terrible piece of kit that doesn't have speed ramping on the thumb rocker, which is actually more of an on/off switch and speed controlled by a rotary dial under your fingertip.

I'm currently using an old-school Fujinon zoom demand from broadcast cameras with a Varizoom adaptor cable to allow usage on my PMW200 plus any rented EX1/EX3 cameras, FWIW.

Hi,

I have an Edelkrone Modula 3 (The bundle with the handgrip + monitor holder) I'm moving towards a cage system. Included are all the standard parts that come with the Edelkrone Modula 3, including the handgrip. Will throwing a extra DSLR quick release plate into the bundle. This rig is perfect for those who have a lot of other accessories to mount on their run & gun shoulder rig. (And it's more like an ENG camcorder) Included in the rig is also the EVF holder, which a pretty awesome tool by itself. The rig is in great condition, with just a few scuffs here and there from normal use. Everything tightens down perfectly. I've got good ratings on Fredmiranda and Ebay with the same username in case you are wondering.

You would pay $769 brand new with the extra plate. I'm asking for $475 shipped.

PM me if you have questions.

If I recognize you as a member in good standing I haven't gotten into a heated dispute with, I'd be happy to do so!

<sly wink>

Thanks Dylan.

(As an aside, Dylan keeps asking me if I'd like to rent the camera out to his rental clients and I keep saying "no". Dylan is kinda like Don Corleone - not the sort of guy you say "no" to, which indicates how much I look after my gear...)

BTW, if you read the XDCamEX subforum, you'll see I was having back focus issues initially with this camera. Back focus has been solid and holding since November when I took it to Mexico and had a near complete failure and then back focused on a MONSTROUSLY large high contrast mural.

I'm satisfied that everything has been worked out and that the initial issue was a slight back focus adjustment was necessary upon initial shipping but repeated attempts using a standard back focus chart wasn't working. The solution is to use a simple high contrast "image" all on one plane.
