I was planning to get a time code buddy or any alternative (if any suggestions pls suggest) to transmit Timecode it gets from C300 over wifi to my clapperboard app from MOVIESLATE ...

What kinds of time code does C300 outputs from its TC Out
1. Free Run (in which case getting a timecodebuddy is useless for me)
or 2. Rec Run (which is more important for me)

I dont know how to check it off the camera so asking it ... !

You can set the timecode to Rec Run or Free Run.

Why do you feel you need a time code buddy?

Going for a Cine Shoot & thought it would be nice to have it on shoot to live sync the Slap Slick (thru iPad app) to camera's internal TC ! Havnt decided just contemplating...
