So I'm thinking of starting up SDE's and outside of the laptop, I'm assuming most people show these on a projector. Anyone have any positive experiences with specific projectors? I may just go with one that has good reviews but obviously I want something that will display clearly, bright and faithful to colors. I'm used to projectors usually being pretty crappy lol.

You will need something that's bright enough to overcome ambient light. Also make sure you have the relevant connectors ...eg: VGA, HDMI etc.
I use an Epson 2800 ansi unit with good results. Mine is a WXGA model which means native widescreen. 1280 x 720. The quality of the screen is also important.
