So I just installed this and I like what I see until....

I wend to animate my Video Event and there is not keyframes as the bottom. So, I googled it and they said for Vegas Pro 11 click on the ANIMATE button.

But, I don't have that button anywhere in 12 that I can see.

there is NO "Animate" button. But there is a little bitty clock that if you click on that it gives you the timeline.

That's a difference between DirectX and OpenFX. The new OpenFX parameters can each be keyframed individually. With DirectX, every keyframe contained every parameter. The new option is much more flexible and, as you've seen, just click on the "clock" beside any or all parameters to animate those parameters.
