Okay
So apparently the XLH1 is no longer a viable camera; or is it. I have just learned that convergent makes a raw capture device called the Gemini 4:4:4 that will capture footage directly from the cameras sensor in a raw format. Now I have heard awesome things about the XLH1 when used with a nanoflash and have been looking to incorporate this box into be setup; that is until I heard about the Gemini 4:4:4. So I am wondering if anyone knows if the footage that one would get with this set up, the XLH1 and the Gemini 4:4:4,will compete with some of the images form the DSLRs. I have also been looking at the much cheaper Atomos Samauri Blade, although, I don't think if captures raw.
Someone please provide a little insight. I don't want to waste $4,000.00
