Hi All
I am putting an edited sequence into another sequence but the audio track on the timeline show no waveform - even though good level audio is there - any ideas?

You need to render the audio.

And nested audio waveforms will show by default in Premiere Pro CC. No more having to render audio to see them.

Following what Ann said, in CS6 (and, IIRC, CS5.5), left click on your audio track to highlight it, go to the menu bar, click Clip --> Audio Options ---> "Render and Replace."

Hi Jay,
It's not actually necessary to do "render and replace" to achieve what Peter wants.
With the sequence open in the timeline window left click to select the track and then just go sequence -> render audio and the waveform will appear after it's done rendering.
Cheers
Mark
