Has anyone tried using an eye-fi or transcend wifi SD card to view live from a C100 to an Ipad 2?
I wrote to transcend and they answered...
"The camera Canon C100 is not listed as a compatible camera yet since it have not been tested with the WIFI card.
The card works as you described. You can check video in your mobile device after the shooting, but the video is not copied to the mobile device until you selected to be copied to your camera roll.
You can get the card and test it, and as I know if you get the card from Amazon, you will have a window of 30days for refund."
I would love to have a wireless monitor and it sounds like it would work based on the description here... Transcend 32GB SDHC Memory Card Wireless Class 10 TS32GWSDHC10 (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=&sku=900806&is=REG&A=details&Q=)
It would likely have some lag, and would not need to record to the ipad, just live viewing. It could also be used to show a second shooter what the primary is shooting. Seems too good to be true, but I figured it was worth asking if anyone has tested it. Thanks.
