Sometimes I shoot multicam live using a program called vmix and capture two cameras into one box using an intensity pro and and intensity shuttle in a midsize computer box
It's a hassle dragging that around
Any laptops up to the task these days?

Since the Intensity essentially frees up the CPU from having to do the video decoding, Vmix's CPU overhead and your drive speed are the only things that are factors. Having not used Vmix before, I don't know what kind of resources it uses. Any new laptop could probably handle it. I like the Dell M4700 is a beast of a laptop and can definitely handle it.

thanks for the input but that's not so. Few laptops are compatible even with 1 intensity and I'm hoping someone has managed to find some way to ingest 2 hdmi or component streams to the vmix switcher
