Hi all,

Still drooling and thinking about that pocket cinema camera, and the 4K. I have a bunch of EF lens already, and looking at getting a couple Rokinon cine lens given their price/performance ratio (and I can't afford the good cine lens especially with the need for a new camera body).

So.. what is a good EF to MFT adapter that will allow all my EF mount lens to work on the Pocket Cinema and 4K (although I think the 4K is EF mount already)?. Ideally something that is good quality, sturdy, not super cheap and crap.

Also, do the adapters reduce the crop size on the pocket camera? I thought I read that there was one that can do something like that and sharpen the image as well? Maybe I read wrong.

Thanks.

The EF > M4/3 adaptor you're looking for the is Metabones Speedbooster EF>M43 (will be available later this year). That'll (most likely) decrease your crop factor (x0.71) and increase your light-senstivity with 1 stop. So an fullframe 24mm f/1.4 would become a 49mm f/1.0 on the BMPCC.

Thank you.. that was the one.. I couldn't remember the name. I read there were delays pushing it to next year possibly, hopefully not. I suspect if it's not too heavy in price it will be a very well purchased product for BMCC and other 4/3 cameras.

Are there currently any other existing simple EF to MFT adapters?
