Hello everybody !

I'm a french Dop, and we shot few weeks ago a short with the BMCC.

Shot in raw 2.5K at 25fps with the Zeiss Compact Prime 2 serie and graded in DaVinci Resolve 9.

This delirious film about an English girl landing in Paris is in fact the opportunity to test this camera on a real shooting, to show you what is possible to do with the Blackmagic when it used by technicians who actually work in fiction.

You can see it here :Lucy From Paris Ep1 - Test Blackmagic Camera (http://vimeopro.com/josselinbillot/blackmagic-cinema-camera/video/61141547)

It's an independent test.

I hope you can learn something of this film.

A documentary is also available here : Making Of Lucy From Paris Ep1 (http://vimeopro.com/josselinbillot/blackmagic-cinema-camera/video/63480099)

Excellent stuff, thanks for sharing. The skin-tone problem you have mentioned - is it for all kinds of skin across every scene or shot?

The skin-tone problem mainly appears on inside shot, with 3200K sources (Tugsten) and low-light condition.
We only work with caucasian skin, so I can't tell you how others kinds of skin react.
