I posted about the AJA ROI on my tech blog right after attending their meeting at NAB 2013, and was thoroughly impressed with what they claimed this could do, specifically as a converter for use with BMD switchers.
It provides DVI to SDI conversion WITH DVI out as well, which comes in handy when trying to use a computer as a source for a switcher and a projector at the same time, for example.
