Best for video on a fairly regular basis?

Thanks for your help.

Can't speak to the Nikon, but having used Canons, the T4i is a nice camera, depending on what your standards are and what you need it for. Ease of use, it is great.

For the price point, though, wouldn't the noticeable quality increase of the 7D or a used Mark ii be worth the modest bump in price? If you shoot in modest/low light situations, the Mark ii is almost 2 f/stops better and the ISO noise on the T4i is noticeable.

The T4i is light, and I had a hard time going hand held because of too much shake in my videos. I really had to stick with tripod shots a lot, even just walking around, for the extra weight.

Can't remember, did the T4i fix the 12 minute max video or was that not til the T5i?

Go for the Canon, the manual control for video on the Nikon is a PITA.

There both great but the Nikon has on-screen audio level control, clean hdmi output and the video quality is on par with the 5D MarkIII. Link below.
