Are they just selling like hotcakes or are they fixing the LCD green cast?

I highly doubt they're fixing the green cast. I presume it's a hardware issue as I've seen a NEW EX3 with the same display and I've seen one that has been replaced on an older EX1 some time before pmw200 was even announced.

I was stunned how soft and green it was compared to the one on my EX1.

I have two PMW 200's and do not have any color cast problem.

My local camera dealer has one left in stock if you are interested.

Bill, did you compare them side by side to an older EX1, EX1r or EX3?

Note that I say older, as the newer ones had the same display as the PMW200.

Put them side by side if you ever get a chance, then you'll see why some of us are slightly pissed off.

B&H still has PMW-200s. At least they have 'one' and it's being sent to me as we speak. I'm not surprised to hear Sony has a 'hot seller' on their hands.

I am quite happy with my 200's. Except for that back focus issue that was resolved with a firmware upgrade.

Well, B&H does show "Back Ordered" status, with expected delivery of April 30, 2013. I did confirm with B&H that mine is en route, with SDD: 4/10/13.

Looking forward to receiving the camera.
