So this topic could go a couple of different places, but decided to start here. I just recently bought the gopro hero 3 and after I uploaded a small clip to test I noticed I had some problems. I imported the footage into ae cs6, slowed it down with twixtor then rendered it. As i watched the final product I noticed the parts that were not to be slowed down were playing at about half speed. I also took the raw footage and imported it into pr and before editing saw the same thing in the preview. I then took the raw footage and played it in windows media player and it played fine. Not sure what exactly I'm doing wrong. Also, while I was watching the final project rendered from ae I saw some choppiness every second or so where it would pause and play. I went by a few different tutorials and made sure I had the frame rate matched but still I have problems. I did shoot in 720 @ 120fps while the clip shows 59.94fps which is what I matched to. Please help. Thank you.

Maybe your computer is slow?
Could be an effect from changing shutter speed?

Here is what I now noticed after re-interpreting the footage. The original clip is 26 seconds long. As soon as it gets imported, the 120 fps gets lowered to 59.94 and the clip lengthens to 53;07. Ok so I re-interpreted the footage to 29.976 and the footage lengthened to 1;46;09. I then tried re-interpreting it back to 120 fps but found out ae will not allow above 99fps. Is this something I should fix in Pr first somehow, then bring it back to ae to mess with twixtor?

looks like the import is misinterpreting. Do you have any tools that will show you the details in the file itself? that way you know if the file is misformatted or the software is misinterpreting.
