I've searched for a few days for a mixer to mix my 4 channels into 4 surround channels. I basically need something to take data from the h2n which should be a stereo l/r pair and a stereo front/back pair, and mix them into LF/RF/LR/RR channels. I have found many inexpensive programs that will take your existing 5.1 data and allow you to alter levels and whatnot. But only one that will take a signal and let you specify where in the room that sound is, and from that map it onto the 5 channels.

That's all I need. I don't need loops or frequency analyzers, or pretty much anything else.

The most inexpensive software I have found that will do this is Acid Pro 7.

Are there any others I have missed?

Thank you!

Thanks for your consideration. I believe I'm good now. Will be using a friends Logic Pro.
