Hi
Couple of questions, I'm running FCP 7 on my Jan 2008 MacPro 2.8GHz on Snow Leopard OSX6.8, all good.
My 2007 Santa Rosa 2.2GHz MacBook Pro died and I splashed out on a 2013 2.4GHz MacBook Pro Retina Display laptop running OSX.8.2
Firstly, what is the latest operating system that FCP 7 will run on?
I think this OSX.8.2 is called Mountain Lion.
Secondly, I ran a Firmtek / SeriTek/2SM2-E and a SeriTek/2EN2 dual bay eSata enclosure 2TB RAID system via the Express34 slot on my old Santa Rosa.
I understand there are a couple solutions from Lacie and Sonnet in the form of Thunderbolt to eSata adapter.
Is anyone in a similar situation and does anyone have a solution to this problem?
I have contacted Firmtek tech support, but they they just said they had a solution in the pipeline with no future date and didn't endorse any other third party product.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Michael
