Great news for those living on the West Coast.

Be great to see Canon hosting similar events in other Cities. London would be good for me.

Or they could use one of their great cameras to film the presentations and share that with the world.

Terry, Any thoughts on suggesting they record it and make it available online?

I emailed Canon about streaming or recording the event and got this response:

"This is something the many people have been asking about, and we are looking into this option. However, we currently do not stream our on site events.

Additionally, the Canon Digital Learning Center recently posted a great online tutorial series on the C100. This is free of charge. You can check it out at http://www.learn.usa.canon.com/galleries/galleries/tutorials/eos_c100_tutorials_gallery.shtml "

My bet is that if someone attending just shot the event, they'd be am amenable. Many of us would be so grateful.

Unfortunately, with Canon usually is taping the events , they ask everyone else not to....I've talked with them often about streaming so they know about it and are working on a solution that works for them, the given speaker at each event, and the rest of us.
