In project Properties we can set 8 bit, 32 bit float video levels or 32 bit float full range.
In comp properties in After Effects I can choose 8 bits, 16 bits and 32 bits per channel.
Is this the same thing?
If so, why dont we have 16 bits per channel in Vegas?
Also, in After Effects if I use Neat Video plug in a 16 bit comp, Neat video works as a 16 bit plug in stated in the Neat video options window (see below)
But in Vegas, even in a 32 bit comp it only operates as an 8 bit plug in.( see other pic).
Explanations most appreciated.
