Hi Guys,
In an attempt to understand EVERYTHING I can about a new camera I am one of those freaks that reads manuals. Great night stand stuff, sometimes takes weeks because I fall asleep.
Anyway. There is a weird statement I don't understand. I think it is a poor translation, but still, I am not sure what they are trying to say?
Page 44 It says "Movies recorded with the recording mode set to PS or FX mode on can be saved to an external media device only. P.104".
The "1080/60P PS" setting is the cameras highest data rate at 28 Mbps and the only option labeled "PS"
The 1080/24P FX setting is the cameras native format (NTSC cameras). "FX" modes are the most common settings this camera will be used in.
The reference to P.104 is simply where they describe how to transfer images to an external device. The camera will not record live to anything VIA USB. But of course "FX" and "PS" both record and playback fine from the card. What are they trying to say?
Steve
