it is my understanding that when recording out through HD-SDI with peaking on, peaking is recorded to your HD-SDI source...

can anyone confirm this?

ok i finally got my answer...yes indeed if you turn peaking on it will be output via HD-SDI, which i guess is good and bad...if your external monitor is not true hd resolution, bad if your going to a deck

i can see a setup where peaking is turned on for a setup on a shot and then forgotton to be turned off...it would make working with peaking a bit more tricky...
