Does anyone know how many Mbps the 6D records in in uncompressed 1080? Does it meet broadcast standards? I thought I heard somewhere that it was 50mbps but I just don't know.

Nigel Barker February 12th, 2013, 02:51 AM Bizarrely in the specifications Canon quotes bit rate in MB/minute rather than Mbps that everyone else uses. The figures quoted are identical to those of the 5D3 235 MB/min. with IPB compression 685 MB/min. with All-I compression These equate to 31.33Mbps IPB 91.33Mbps All-I Canon U.S.A. : Consumer & Home Office : EOS 6D (http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer/products/cameras/slr_cameras/eos_6d#Specifications) Scott Hutchcroft February 13th, 2013, 09:06 AM Thanks for the answer.
