Hi all,
Just thought i would tell you a bit about a film of Leon Lorenz that i just watched. As the title of the thread suggests, the film is called Wildest of the wild.
Shot over 4 years, it follows Leon through the seasons around BC & Alberta Canada as he pursues the wildlife he loves to film. With some heart pounding moments where he is being charged by a sow grizzly, to some very unusual behaviour of porcupines & everything in between. The film had me glued to the set. It has a lovely narration & stunning shots of lots of different wildlife. I learnt quite a bit too about filming wildlife so for a lot of people here on the UWOL forum, i thought you might like to take a look at it.
The DVD can be ordered here on his website. Canadian Wildlife Productions: Grizzly Bears, Bighorm Sheep in Alberta & BC Rockies DVD Videos (http://www.wildlifevideos.ca/)
I thoroughly enjoyed watching it as i am sure many of you will.
Regards,
Bryce
