There is a great steadicam sequence in the movie The Oxford Murders(2008) where we follow a person walking down the street into a book store, then back out to where we follow Elijah Wood on a bicycle to his apartment. After he gets off his bike the camera glides along the sidewalk then floats magically up in the air and into an open window to the first murder victim.
I still can't figure out how they flew up into that open window so smoothly. But the steadicam sequence was breathtaking and perfectly timed to the traffic of people and cars going in & out of the shot.
This is right at the begining of the movie.
Anyone get a chance to see this movie?
Does anyone have any steadicam favorites to share?
