I'm considering adding Magic Bullet's (MB) Colorista Free (C-Free) download for use w/CS6.
My research has uncovered ways to download & install C-Free for CS5.5, then move files from one CS5.5 folder to another CS6 folder..
My concern is that I have never had CS5.5 installed on my workstation. I had CS2 on an old machine, then purchased a new machine w/CS6 already installed. (Needed a 64-bit processor).
So, I'm thinking I don't have the necessary CS5.5 folder(s) to which C-Free would be installed, so there would be no CS5.5 folder(s) from which to move the files.
The C-Free installation instructions could be interpreted as being useless unless CS5.5 has existed on the target machine. I'm hesitant to just download and install C-Free for fear of screwing-up my current CS6 installation, which is working pretty well for me.
Does anyone know if there's a CS6-only installation for C-Free? Or am I just being overly/needlessly cautious?
Should I simply follow the instructions for installing CS5.5, and if so, will the necessary folder(s) be created by that install?
Any help appreciated.
