Hi,
I'm new to this website and not sure how to use everything yet.I'm just crazy anything talk about dvinfo!A picture is worth a thousand words.Looking forward to learning and sharing from the community.

Welcome aboard, David! Around here we like to think of video as thirty* still photos per second...
* or 24, or 60, etc.

I'm an old photo dog, too and if I had only known you can string 24, 30, or 60 frames of still photos together and give the illusion of motion, I would have gotten into this whole "video" thing years ago. Heh, heh!
Enjoy your time here, it's a great resource with very nice and helpful people. As you gain experience you'll notice there are names that pop-up on a regular basis. A lot, if not all of the most helpful and knowledgeable folks are working professionals with tons of real world experience. If they offer their advice, there's usually a very good reason.

Now my main still camera is my iPhone and then only for the grandkids!
