On page 56 in the manual it states that by default the handle zoom rocker is set to variable speed, but mine is not and I have no idea how to make it so. The normal zoom lever is set to variable and I have looked in the menu. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Don't know offhand where it is, but it is in the menu, you might just look a bit more. I've seen it, but I don't have my camera handy.

On page 57 about 1/3 the way down it states that the handle zoom rocker and wireless remote zoom operates at a constant speed. The choice is which speed range and speed step. So we may have a manual missprint, (and perhaps a feature to add to the XA10s if/when it is released)?

I too do not have the camcorder with me at the moment.
