Is there a way to input/output timecodes with the EX1/1R line? I looked at the specs and I don't see a timecode in/out port.

Unfortunately, there are no TC IN/OUT ports on the EX1/1R that I am aware of. The EX3 has them.

The PMW-200 also allows you to input or output time code (single connector - can't loop through).

When using several EX1/1R cameras we would sometimes go into the menus, enable the IR control, set time code to free run, set the preset number to the same time code on all cameras, and then use the IR remote to start the time codes simultaneously. Not an elegant solution by any means, but at least it gets you darn close! If you have time code visible on your LCD viewfinder and aim another camera at it (full zoomed in at minimum focus) you can visually line up the numbers to verify that you are very close. Shooting a few frames as a reference doesn't hur any either. Of course the sync slate at the beginning of a long take can definitely help the editor if there's a problem.
