We need to export a feature shot in HDCAM and edited in full res in Premiere Pro onto HDV (via firewire onto an HDV camcorder) for a test screening. If anyone has done this export, if there are any pointers or settings you can share, that would be great.

PC.
I'm passing on the info to the director. He was about to burn an SD DVD for the upcoming screening and I'm trying to encourage him towards a more appropriate medium for a 30 ft screen!

OK, follow this script;
1] Download and fully install Edius Pro 3.x trial demo from Canopus website.
2] in Premiere you will see a bridge to Canopus Procoder Express. Export the timeline and follow the wizard and choose HDV MODE2 preset (1440X1080 MP@HL). This will create a m2t file on the harddrive.
3] Use the Canopus MPEG TS Writer to send the m2t file to a Sony Z1 or FX1
Good luck.
