Any frame rate upgrades with the C500?

I'm assuming you are talking about a firmware upgrade on the C500.....Really?....it's just starting to ship, it's brand new.
Now if you are talking about frame rate upgrades from the C300, yes there are some...60P, 120fps in 2K..

Jim I am not that unrealistic I was talking frame rate upgrade on the C300 that I own use and like.

Now you are saying 120fps in 2K internal? Or out SDI?

Running four computers with two edit projects going this week a little distracted.

Also, Canon will do some kind of firmware upgrade to the C300, based on the many interviews & blog reading they have done over the last 9 months. I was hoping for this month but I'm feeling that we might not see anything until after the 1st of the year.
As for frame rates, many are asking for 60p and they know it (I don't know if it can be done with the "engine" that is in the camera)...120fps, not a chance...it's in the C500.

The C500 and the C300 have the same Digic DV III. 60p at 1080 for the C300 should be doable.

1080 at 60p is very important for me and for that reason alone I can go for 1D C when it is launched (however its codec is not broadcast ready). I want to buy early next month, so hope Canon comes out with a firmware upgrade of C300 before that.
