As the XA-10 has been out for over a year I wonder if anyone has any news of a replacement yet.

If Canon's past history with respect to their Prosumer/Pro lines is any indication of the future, there is reason to expect a XA10s (or similar designation) version about 3 years after the XA10 came out. (Consider their history with the L1->L2, XL1 -> XL1s, XH-A1->XH-A1s, GL1->GL2) However, that is not assured, it will also depends on what else is going on in the industry (i.e., the competition) and related technology.
