Does anyone know where I can find some info about shutter speed/angle and the xf100 (or xf300)
I know for 1/50 (as i am in Pal-land) the angle should be 173 degrees but there is no such value in the camera.
Closest is 180 which is for 24fps.
Am I missing something here.

Are you shooting 24fps or 25? The 173° shutter is to reduce flickering of 50hz lights when shooting 24fps. As you say you are in PAL-land, you're probably shooting 25fps, and 180° is fine.

The key thing to note is that the angle purely defines the shutter speed, which with angle is related to and changes according to the frame rate while speed in seconds is fixed and does not change if you change frame rate. The actual operation of the shutter is identical whichever method of displaying the speed you use. Really on a video camera fractions of a second is far more useful than degrees, degrees is just fashionable because it sounds cool but when your trying to sync shutters to mains frequencies or lighting frequencies degrees are a PITA.
