Hello,

Does anyone know if the Sony NX70U, MC50U and/or NX30 have clean outputs from the HDMI port in "Nightshot" mode? I have a CX700V, and it has a clean output in the regular mode, but in Nightshot it displays "Nightshot" and an eye symbol out through the HDMI. Or perhaps if anyone knows how to turn off the display, that would be a great help.

I just checked my NX70, it says nightshot and has the eye symbol also. Pressing the display button changes the display on the viewfinder but doesn't affect the HDMI output.

I am looking to use some nightshot footage for a feature, and was hoping to hook the camcorder up to an external recorder. But it looks like I'll just have to use the AVCHD footage.
