I have an old tripod I want to sell on ebay but I hve no idea how much it's worth and was wondering if you guys could help.

From the label on the head it looks as though it's a Sachtler Hollywood S.8.

Can't shed any light I'm afraid, but if you fire a mail to: Barbara.jaumann@vitecgroup.com, who's the Product Manager for Sachtler, she should be able to give you some background information.

As for what it's worth, well, it looks pretty beat up, hey, maybe Sachtler will buy it for their museum!
