Hello,

I've been using Neo HDV bought in 2007-8 on a machine with a Q6700 2.7ghz. 4 GB of Ram, a little over 3GB seen by Windows XP Pro.
I have two disks working in RAID 0 as a scratch disk. I use it to edit my current work and of course I capture with that disk and store everything I'm editing on it.
I can only use the setting PREVIEW> HALF if I want to have a normal playing mode. This is the highest setting I can use. As soon as I try to use a superior setting such as GOOD>HALF it becomes jerky. Forget about using BEST>FULL.

Here is my question:
If I change the RAID0 disk with two modern disks, the fastest disks (not SSD) I can buy,
Will I be able to:
1-Run NEOSCENE
2- Is it going to be jerky on PREVIEW> HALF?

Should I even bother or should I just build a new machine?
Thanks
Larry
