Hello all. I have a problem with my XH-A1's LCD. It has flipped 180 degrees. That's normal when you flip it to view from the front, but then it is supposed to flip back to normal when you turn it back to normal position. I can not under any condition get it to flip back to normal. Anyone have this problem before? Also when I tuck it away, the viewfinder monitor turns off also. It has been about a month since I used the camera. It's been in the bag the entire time. It was normal when I last used it, so you can understand my puzzle over this.
If you have any ideas, I could sure use your feedback. Thanks!

Try hitting the reset button for about 10 seconds with a ballpoint pen or toothpick. From my memory it's on the top of the camera somewhere. You'll know it worked if the camera asks you to reset the time and date.

Write down your picture profile settings first if you've set any up!!!

Welcome to the forum Rick :)

When you bagged your A1 for a month, did you leave it with a charged battery in place? Did it go flat over that time?

If so, leave a fully charged battery installed for 48hrs to charge up the A1s internal lithium battery.

If that doesn't fix it then try Nate's reset, check with your cams manual first, it recommends you power your A1 with AC while you do it. HTH.

Cheers.

Thanks for the feedback! Yes I did the reset where I had to put in the date and time. When I stored the camera, there was a full battery in the camera. Still plenty of power left because I powered up the camera. The camera was working fine when I put it in the bag. This is a crazy problem indeed.
Thanks for the welcome!

On the GL series a while ago there were some instances reported with a ribbon cable to the LCD coming loose. Not clear if this happens with the XH-A1.
